SATURDAY 4/7: A NEW BEGINNING

Starting new cycle today. Will detail it later. Did some intense thinking last night, and I will be closer to getting it "right" this time (at least whatever "right" means at this point in time)

Gym closed tomorrow (Easter) so I had to start today.

12:00 PM

hang power clean: 135x3,3 155x2 185x2 205x1 225x1 245x1 255x8x1 --tried to keep 30 seconds rest beetween sets, was close on all sets. Taken from floor as well. My first pull feels better

push press: (speed) 235x8x2 (warmups not listed) --had to clean these as well cuz the power rack was in use (legit use, thank god). Good speed considering that cleaning each set will sap my energy. My preferred order of operations is to press first, but alas. FUCK! I just realized I forgot to do partials as well! Arggh!!!!

machine assisted pullups: "5" x 3 sets of 8 --will build volume here instead of doing pulldowns

That's it, I was smashed from the cleans. Cardio this evening and tomorrow AM, with KB's most likely. I actually wanted to work up in push press but that was a non starter due to the power rack situation. My policy, generally, is when I'm not in my normal "time slot" at the gym, I defer to whoever is "usually" there.

Cardio:

Long ass walk in fucking cold while listening to C2C. I started jog-walk intervals towards the end. A proven tool. left leg is going to hurt, but I must do this tomorrow! This took an hour

Diet:

1. (post workout) 2 serv ON whey w/ 1c yogurt 3 cups strawberries
2. .6lbs ground beef w/ cheese
3. same as 3 with greens
4. 3 serv ON Casein with 4tpsp cream
