Calm before the storm....
game-time decision tonight to tone down to warmup-level so I don't burn out 3 weeks from now. The calm before the storm. I'm excited to get going on the Dual Factor 5x5.
Got my hands on some E-books today. Tom Venuto's "Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle" is a good read, if for no other reason than it has given me several "duh" moments regarding the path I must take to reach my goals. I'll coalesce them into something I can "slipstream" into my current training, when I get a chance to roll this stuff around inside my head some more. I know for sure that I'm gonna have to suck it up and do some shit I hate, but such is life.
WEDNESDAY 3/7
press: 155x6 155x8,8 --I could feel a pump coming on with this pathetic weight. my upper body endurance 5uX0rs
hang power clean: 185x7 singles --nice and easy. flew under the bar
squats: 135x3,3 185x5 225x5,5,5 --need to learn to get warmed up "quicker" on squats somehow. Dynamics, maybe?
called it here.
